A Letter from Dox Electronics CEO Ruth Michael

Dear Clients,

During this time when we are all facing unprecedented challenges, on behalf of Dox I want to extend a personal note to let you know how we are working to protect our community. Health and safety remain our highest priority.

The effects of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic are changing day-to-day. Dox remains committed to being responsive to the needs of our community and clients as this dynamic situation evolves. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns at (585) 473-7766. Our service manager is available directly at (585) 295-1922.

Working From Home

Many of you are already taking responsible steps toward social distancing by enabling your employees to work from home. Dox has done the same and is committed to helping other companies set up or expand their remote workforce capabilities. Our firewall specialists are working to address your VPN requests as quickly and safely as we can.

Social Distancing

While all Dox personnel have the capability to work from home, the office currently remains open to our employees who are healthy and able to commute with a few modifications. Our workspaces are at least six feet apart and we have expanded procedures to sanitize and clean all touchpoints frequently throughout the day.

Limited Travel

We have ceased air travel and we are limiting our ground travel as follows. Dox personnel will continue on-site visits as needed until such time as state or federal mandates prevent this. Our personnel who make on-site visits will take extra steps to sanitize systems that they touch before and after service and maintain a six-foot distance from other people.

If state or federal mandates do prevent on-site visits, Dox will cease our on-site visits to all except organizations that provide essential services and are exempt from the mandate. Such visits will be limited to servicing critical/down systems.

Flattening the Curve

The health and safety of our colleagues, their families, and our communities are the highest priority. We continue to encourage everyone to follow the preventive measures recommended by the CDC to stay healthy and slow the spread of the virus including:

  • Clean your hands frequently
  • Avoid touching your face
  • Stay home if you feel ill

Stay Safe and Healthy,

Ruth Michael
