Letter to a client in the woods
Dear client,
First of all, thank you very much for the feedback.?
After having reviewed this document, I can appreciate that these observations are made, on the matters that are concerned to design and design only, to a very specific criterion of what “creative” is.?
What is creativity??
Is it the use of diagonals in a composition??
Is it the use of curved?shapes?
Is it an abundance of shapes on a page?
Or is it the contrast between shape and white space?
All of this could be deemed "creative" solutions,?given the right context.

From our modest point of view, in that sense, the word “creative” does not seem necessarily adequate to communicate the ideas we need to exchange?in our dialogues and is used as a portmanteau to express something but we do not know what. While it is possible to excuse oneself saying that?one is not an expert in expressing oneself about visual matters, it is not necessary to be one to say what object, feeling, emotion, goal do you want to?achieve.? Let's not forget that design relies in subjectivity to a some degree and multiple solutions can be used to fulfill a "creative" problem.
Having that in mind, we will do our best to match your vision- and get these changes done in the way we figure out that?is -??as it seems that the general style idea is to obtain a variation on the previous style and not a new one, as was communicated at?the beginning of the project.?
The word?creativity?has been used and?misused?in many?contexts, but mainly now is associated with the sector of art and entertainment.
Creativity, as a word, has been linked to ingenuity, to invention, and, within the context of modernity and progress, given a mantle of positive connotations.?
Creation,?therefore?is linked to innovation. But also to context. So please refrain of using the word "creativity" in such light manner. Lets start a new dialogue accepting our subjectivities so we can find a path of mutual understanding and acceptance.
Creativity happens in a context, such context could be a tradition, a skill, a constrained situation, a boundary.
Looking forward to our next meeting...
