Letter of Appreciation to #SASMEF CEO
RE: APPRECIATION
On behalf of the African Development Bank’s Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV), I would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to you for attending and contributing to the recently concluded dialogue forum that was hosted by IDEV and the Evaluation Department of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) in Pretoria on 30-31 October 2017 on the theme “Financing Private Sector Development: What Works, What does not Work—and Why? Lessons from Independent Evaluations.”
The 2-day forum was successful as it provided an opportunity to government, private sector and development stakeholders in South Africa to share knowledge from evaluations, research and practical experience to stimulate conversation on the way forward to a more effective private sector development approach. I have no doubt that this would not have been accomplished without your presence and active participation. We are in the process of sharing all materials, videos, photos etc. from the event on our website (idev.afdb.org) to ensure the conversation continues.
I would like to reiterate my deep gratitude to you for your personal enthusiasm to make this event a success and look forward to your continued support and more opportunities for partnership.
Yours sincerely,
Rakesh Nangia

7 年Well done Carl John Lotter. We are at an absolute critical stage of developing the Small Businesses in South Africa. Not only from a social integration point of view but as a sure fire way of contributing to an accelerated economic transformation process. Capital resources and advisory expertise will insure the transformation is for the now and not some future speculative initiative.
