Letter 75: Part 1: Letter to Self

Finally the 75th day of 75 HARD :

I am writing this letter as more of reflective version: I will write the detailed post tomorrow on my journey. This letter covers more of what I feel I realise about myself in the journey.

Dear Self,

The last 75 days have been a whirlwind—a journey of discipline, growth, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Embarking on my second 75 Hard challenge, I’ve pushed my limits and uncovered new dimensions of resilience and focus.

From refining my personal brand to driving professional initiatives, these days have been a testament to the strength of purpose.

Yet, amid the accomplishments, I’ve come to recognize that progress isn’t linear. Mistakes and weaknesses are as much a part of the journey as triumphs. Here’s what I’ve observed about myself:

1. The Beauty and Burden of Overcommitment My enthusiasm to take on multiple projects has been both a strength and a stumbling block. Balancing campaigns, content creation, and professional milestones alongside the challenge sometimes left me spread too thin. While I pride myself on multitasking, I’ve realized that deeper focus often leads to greater impact.
2. Engagement Without Growth I’ve worked hard to create meaningful content, yet my audience growth has been slower than expected. This has nudged me to rethink my approach—perhaps more experimentation, interaction, and audience feedback will bridge the gap. Many have told me to post less but I believe am not able to create content as its not getting enough time
3. Not Letting Go of Smaller Tasks I’ve realized that my tendency to hold on to tasks like editing, formatting, or minor tweaks could be counterproductive. These could easily be outsourced or delegated, allowing me to focus on higher-value priorities. Letting go of these smaller tasks is a step I must take to scale my impact effectively.
4. The Trap of High Expectations My drive to achieve often comes with the weight of self-criticism. When things don’t go as planned, I tend to focus on shortcomings rather than celebrating progress. Recognizing this, I know I must learn to embrace imperfection as part of the process.
5. The Need for Rest and Reflection The intensity of my routine has sometimes left little room for mental recovery or creative reflection. A sharper focus on intentional breaks could unlock new ideas and recharge my energy.

Acknowledging these areas isn’t about dwelling on weaknesses—it’s about understanding where I can grow further.

Each observation is a stepping stone to becoming a better version of myself, personally and professionally.

As I move forward, I promise to refine my focus, let go of perfection, and embrace the potential of outsourcing where needed.

Above all, I vow to remain committed to learning—not just from my successes but also from my challenges.
