Normally our company is focused on the business of music and associated fields of interest, but recently it has become painfully evident that there is something out of place in the air and it has nothing to do with the music business. Instead it seems our society in general has taken a turn for the worse with certain groups, especially young adults coming out of school for the summer and out on the streets of various cities in America doing incredibly dangerous and mindless things to themselves, their families, their communities and innocent people of all races. Now we are in no means condeming all youth or troubled adults, because certainly there have been many stories reported of people in America overcoming incredible odds or circumstances in their lives to beat the system and survive. These youth and law abiding citizens of all ages are rightfully applauded, acknowledged, supported and praised for their strength and spirit of determination during their difficult times. HOWEVER THERE ARE THOSE WHO FOR WHATEVER REASON ARE DRAWN TO DO BAD THINGS … and it is these people in America we are addressing in an effort to deter bad social conduct and make a difference. A perfect example and reason for our approach would be a recent report covered in The New York Daily News on May 19, 2019. As the article headline states "An off-duty firefighter was sucker-punched and stomped on the Upper East Side as he tried to defend a couple from a group of young toughs."
The 38-year-old firefighter was walking with his girlfriend on E. 86th St. near Second Ave., about 7:20 p.m. Saturday when he saw a group of young people running back and forth from the street to the sidewalk. The youths — five males and two females, 15 or 16 years old, according to a nearby doorman — were taunting a nearby couple. The firefighter told the kids to cut it out, cops said. One young man in the group responded by punching the firefighter in the back of his head, sending him sprawling to the ground, said police. The doorman said he was at his desk in his building when he heard a woman scream and yell, “Oh my God!” He jumped from his desk and ran to the scene.
“Outside, I saw the guy lying face down on the floor, gushing blood. And the kids were running down Second Avenue," he said. “They were a bunch of hoodlums. Just rowdy, misdirected, misguided kids. Kids think they can do whatever they want to do," he said. "It’s some real punk juvenile crap to get him from behind instead of respecting him like an adult. Now there's obviously something very wrong in the lives of these kids that these have no regard to the feelings, lives or privacy of others. However the time for complacency is over. The summer of 2019 is just beginning and the nation along with all free citizens in cities all across America are about to celebrate with their families and need to feel safe and be able to enjoy their outdoor activities together without fear of racial conflict or religious judgement.
Amazingly what we believe can solve this phenomenon first appeared to us on TV. Click on the link below to review an eye-opening and insightful NBC news report which caught our attention outlining the possibility of upping the penalties for criminal activities of persons formally convicted of crimes across the board regardless of age. In short America should adopt the social credit system that will go into effect next year across China, where every citizen will be scored based on their behavior. Good actions, like volunteering, and bad, like littering, are tracked using algorithms, artificial intelligence and facial recognition — and there are real consequences for a high or low score.
