It’s like you’re cruising in daylight & then suddenly the lights go out & darkness falls!

Here’s the interesting twist ... just like artists & photographers use shadows to spotlight the real focal points ... life’s contrasts do the same for us.

Next time life flips the script on you ... Get curious & channel your inner detective.

Emotional Fitness ~ Resentment isn't just a buzzkill … it's powerful feedback!

Last week, I offered fresh thinking around our emotions not just being random feelings, but actually the language of our metaphysical body.

?? Yep, they're our Energetic Emails loaded with vital information, helping us find our truth & walk our Path of Purpose.

Today, I want to deep dive into one particular emotion that tends to clutter our inbox:?

RESENTMENT ??

Resentment is that nagging email you keep ignoring but it just won’t go away.

It’s got 3 key messages for you ...

  1. Over Investment Alert! ?? ~ Feeling resentful? Check where you're giving too much in relationships, situations or events. It’s like being the superhero for a team who forgets you when it's their turn to save the day.
  2. Trading your Truth ?? ~ When you compromise your truth to fit into someone else’s mold, resentment starts brewing like a bad cup of coffee ... it's not good for your mental, emotional or physical health.
  3. Boundary Breach ?? ~ If you're feeling used, it’s time to check your boundaries. Maybe you’ve been too generous with your heart or time, letting others take a little too much.

?So, what do you do?

?? Instead of shoving these emotions in your mental spam folder, get curious about them!

Resentment isn't just a buzzkill …? it's feedback.

? Next time resentment pops up, don’t hit delete. Open it, read it, and ask what it’s really trying to tell you.

Get COMFORTABLE in your DISCOMFORT!

Courage Camp ~ If you can ‘do discomfort’ you can do anything!

Many people stop dead in their tracks when they experience discomfort. Do you?

?Do you shy away from discomfort?

?Do you judge it as bad, scary or too difficult?

It’s time to get COMFORTABLE in your DISCOMFORT …

In reality, it is just a growth space, like the growing pains you had as a child.?

When we start to feel wobbly & a little out of control, we can become self conscious & get caught up in what other people think!

?? A couple of years ago I was taking riding lessons in Mexico. It had been a long while since I had ridden & it had been with an English saddle. In Mexico, they use western saddles & reins.?

?? I felt totally out of my depth & in full discomfort! My eyes were wide with fear, my mind was distracted with the 9 different things I was trying to master: posture, rhythm, feet properly in the stirrups, heels down, knees in, calves squeezing, weight upright … I was a mess & all over the place.?

? Until my trainer said … close your eyes, get out of your head … FEEL the horse.

?? This is a powerful lesson for anything new: close your eyes, connect with your heartspace & allow yourself to feel the discomfort.?

Too often we judge these emotions as negative & bad. We want to rid ourselves of them & move them on!

In reality, EMotions are just Energy in Motion that’s why they are called EMotions! They are here to communicate & move through you.?

?? If we could see emotions as treble & bass, instead of positive & negative, we would become more open to receiving the messages they contain.?

?With an open & curious mind, we can ask ourselves …?

?What is discomfort trying to communicate??

Perhaps it is trying to show you where you have a limiting belief, a false fear or are holding onto the past.


Leading Through the Lens of Love ~ Defend or Grow ... It's your choice!

?? Bruce Lipton in his wonderful work, the Biology of Belief, demonstrates to us that a single cell can either DEFEND or GROW … It can’t do both!!

Our inner ecosystem is made up of 37.2 trillion cells …

?Do you want them in DEFENSE mode, activated by fear, anger, resentment or GROWTH mode activated by love, acceptance & compassion?

?? Your thoughts, feelings, values & beliefs all affect your internal environment … which in turn affects how you see your world!

Think of those mornings when you leap out of bed … the birds are singing, the sun is shining, there is joy in your heart … you step in front of the mirror & you like what you see !!

What about the mornings you drag yourself out of bed … consumed by your ever growing todo list, worrying about how you’re going to get every done, whilst replaying that awful conversation you had with your partner, friend or workmate … you stare at the person in the mirror & all you see is your faults, wrinkles, spots & blemishes!

You know how each of those days play out !!

The beauty is … when we are consciously aware … we get to choose which day unfolds!

? When you Lead from the Lens of Love ... you automatically respond from a Growth mind & heart space! When you are in Defense mode, you are operating from Fear & Loss!

Remember ... Where thought goes, energy flows ... what will it be today … GROW or defend?


Don't let old versions of you orchestrate your life!

HUMNAV ~ your HUMan NAVigation practiceWho's running the show ... your 6, 9 or 14 year old self?

Did you know ... old, OUTDATED, REDUNDANT programming is prompting much of our behavior & we don't even REALIZE it! ... That's pretty SCARY!!

Think of those times when you've stepped into a new exciting opportunity, only to find yourself stumbling over invisible trip wires ... or

Something doesn't go the way you were expecting & you want to spit the dummy, slam the door & walk out in a huff!!

Yup ... there's a bunch of old versions within you just waiting to jump in & take the reins of your REACTIONS!!!

These old programs can SLAM on the brakes & even create a little hissy fit!

They may have been an OK way to protect 'little you' back in the day & to get the love, attention, acceptance & approval you sought as a child ...

But how BENEFICIAL are these AUTO programs now??

Just like our smart phones ?? ... we need to RUN REGULAR UPGRADES on the SOFTWARE programs of our MINDS!!

Move from the Impossible (Inner Critic) to I'm possible (Inner Coach) ... Choose a different PLAYLIST!

NoMADness ~ How to Navigate the Valley of FALSE SELF Belief!

When we tune into the voices of our Inner Critic we can get lost wandering in the Valley of FALSE SELF belief. It can feel like a lonely & isolating space, where DOUBT starts to plague you & motivation slips away from you!

Even the most dedicated & successful people / leaders can find themselves perplexed & wandering this space. The key is knowing how to navigate your way out of the Valley of False Self Belief!

?? A healthy start ... is to be AUTHENTIC with your emotions & acknowledge it’s OK you are feeling this way! It’s part of our EBB & FLOW process, as well as the messiness of being human!!?

Plus it usually heralds an opportunity to UPGRADE to a new VERSION of YOU!

?? Next time you feel lost in the Valley of False Self Belief & are facing the seemingly IMPOSSIBLE ... you get to PRACTICE some PERSONAL ALCHEMY …

? Grab a piece of paper, draw a line down the middle. On one side, write the word Impossible. On the other side ... I'm possible!?

? Under the Impossible column identify the FALSITIES, STORIES & JUNK THOUGHTS your Inner Critic is feeding you. Under the I’m Possible column, feel into your heart space & ask your intuition, your Inner Coach ... What is your truth??

? Build your EVIDENCE LIST around your TRUTHS. This is where you want to place your focus ... on the things that are TRUE for YOU!

?? Next time you hear your Inner Critic feeding you junk thoughts & falsities, I want you to hit that PAUSE button and be like Spotify. Choose a different playlist … the one you have just created with your Inner Coach!
