Lets Talk about Windrush, Multiculturalism and Diversity. Tomorrow!!
A little reminder about tomorrow's event.
?I first noticed that my mother differed from me when I was four years old. It wasn’t the colour of her skin that gave it away. While our skin tones were different, hers a full cream and mine café au lait, or milk with a hint of coffee, that difference was not significant enough for me to notice at that age. No, it was her eyes that gave it away. I did not know the exact colour. I only knew the colours blue, red, yellow, white and black. Everything else was just words that had no meaning to me at all."
So starts Chapter three of Distorted Lens.?Join me for a chat and readings about multiculturalism, diversity and writing.
