Let's talk about Values!

At FRIDAY, our values are the foundation of who we are and what we stand for. “One of the essential FRIDAY values for me is “Entrepreneurial.” We have defined it as “being reliable,” “being present whenever the team needs you,” “taking fast decisions,” and “dealing with company resources as your own.” I advocate the Systems theory (see Chaos Theory and David Hume’s works). The world is too complex to understand entirely using a simple linear causality framework. I see it all reflected in the “entrepreneurial” value, which makes you see the whole. When you are there when your team needs you, its morale rises, and the workflow is uninterrupted. When you are reliable, you become a vital node in the company’s human network. When you treat FRIDAY’s resources as your own, you challenge ideas that can cause harm to the company.
