Let's talk about self-doubt

Every single person has at some point doubted themselves.
As a partner, parent, friend. As a professional. As a business owner.
Self-doubt is normal and part of life at times. The question is though, what do we do with it. Or should we do something with it?
Let me talk about something different at first. See, everyone in life has certain goals. A certain ambition. Whatever it is. Some people may have really big goals in life, others are more or less happy where they are and want to keep this up or maybe make some small changes every now and then.
The question is, are you moving towards your goals or away from them?
Are you taking action? Do you enjoy what you do?
Many people would not say that they doubt themselves. They can come across quite confident. But deep down, they are not. People that appear most confident, are often the ones with massive self-doubt. Fears. Anxiety. Mainly, because they are so busy keeping their current life up due to expectations from themselves or others and because they just cannot see any other way.
I've seen and actually worked with successful corporate employees and business owners (no difference here!) who have built a golden cage for themselves. They earn good money, they are what people would call successful. Some of them have lives others may dream about. And yet, they are miserable. They wake up with dread and anxiety. And then they beat themselves up for feeling that way.

Don't be that person. If you feel that self-doubt is holding you back from achieving the life you want to live, then it's time to do something about it.
You don't want to be one of those really frustrated 70 year old people that wish they had done this or that. You have choices. Even if you think you don't.
And we make choices all the time by the way. Even if we do nothing or prefer something not to change because it may be too much, too painful or not appropriate for some reason, we make a choice. A choice not to change. A choice to keep things the same.
Life is nothing but a choice. Every single day. Every single hour.
And as we are here already, let's make life a good one, shall we?
See, our brains are conditioned to work in a certain way. It's not normal to think outside the box because we mostly define a box for ourselves in which we operate. This box gets defined by us at some point due to the experiences we have made, how we grew up, and the people we surround ourselves with.
Have you ever noticed, how similar most people are that you surround yourself with?? So if you want to change, you need to start by opening this box. Think differently. Surround yourself with different people. Question things that were a given.
We need to learn to break our current box down. If this is what you want to do to live the life that you always wanted without letting self-doubt hold you back, get in touch now by dropping me a PM.
