Joining me today (eps 157) is Dr John Vial. John is a roboticist, educator and a board member of Robotics Australia Group as well as a network member. Currently teaching robotics online at https://becomearoboticist.com where he runs a series of robotics challenge sessions. John also works for Nexxis, an Australian robotics OEM that manufactures and designs inspection robots for the resources industry. John has over 10 years of experience in Robotics and AI and holds a PhD in Robotics from the University of Sydney. John has experience working accross industries and different company sizes. Including working for large mining corporations, running small startups and doing post-doctoral research. John goal is to build a thriving robotics ecosystem in Australia.
