We all have used both natural as well as processed products ever since our childhood. And, very well understand the utility, benefits or satisfaction level achieved or felt while using both. The simplest example in this scorching summer is eating a natural alphonso mango in comparison to the processed ‘Aam Ras’ or a ‘Mango Kulfi’. Yes all forms of mango are mouth -watering & delicious and each one has its own credibility to our platter. How easy it is to understand this for all products or services we buy by spending money, but when it comes to one of the easiest process of any professional or commercial set up i.e. “Business Communication” we depend fully just on process of E- Mail writing or rather occasional or regular email wars. Why do as professionals we forget the basics of communication while sending emails that rubs the receivers in a wrong way and they feel obligated to reply. And specifically when we argue with those continuous email trails while keeping the world in ‘CC’. How casually we just miss the basic concept of communication.

Communication is a process of sharing ideas between U & I and the only agenda should be to exchange thoughts, ideas or instructions rather than making it a tug of war where we get 5 chances and whoever pulls the scarf more times win the game. Though we all live a life of professionals and most of us are the creators and implementers of processes which we sometime start running behind blindly. Processes are created to make life easy and generate better success quotients for all of us rather making a single idea undergoing 5 surgeries that could spoil the natural essence of the idea itself. Emails are base of business communication but a lot of times after one exchange of email if we feel our message is not being conveyed well, make your life easy by taking a walk to the attached room to get things happened or make a single call through the much available connectivity sources and back up your conversation with an email of discussion summary. E-mail exchanges are important for decision making but when it’s turning into fights or intellectual arguments then better to stop and take initiative and have a conversation either verbal or one on one and sort that matter out. Sometimes collecting courage for one to one discussion is a bit difficult than email exchanges but it could ultimately lead towards showcasing amazing outcomes for all involved.

Keep in mind we could make our products & services just by blending a perfect combination of natural as well as processed portions. It’s on us how well we understand the circumstances and situations we are living. But yes the next time you are driving towards an email war hold for a while and observe what it is leading you to:
