Let’s Talk Mental Health
Today we celebrate Bell Let’s Talk Day, a program dedicated to increasing awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health.
The work Bell has done to create a national conversation on this topic is outstanding – and it has inspired many of us to lend our voice to this critical discussion.
For me, that means representing BMO as the Executive Champion for Diversity & Inclusion and partnering with my colleagues to increase our focus on workplace mental health support and awareness.
It also means working with organizations like Kids HelpPhone, Jack.org, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) and CivicAction to make sure we recognize mental health is health.
If you haven’t already done so, take a moment to tweet, text or share #BellLetsTalk on your social platforms, in support of mental health awareness and advocacy. Bell will donate 5¢ for every applicable text, call, tweet, social media video view and use of its Facebook frame or Snapchat filter towards mental health initiatives in Canada. Let’s do this!
