Let's talk about mean comments... (Social Media Secrets E13)

I've had a lot of content go viral over the years, especially content related to my mom bod.

Here are several things I've learned over the years about cruel, unkind, and hateful comments.... Especially those related to our appearances.

1. The people who leave cruel comments are projecting. That is THEIR belief of the world, their life, their looks.
2. Going viral means you created something polarizing. You'll get allllllll kinds of comments. I stop checking once it goes viral.
3. The most successful people I know don't tear ANYONE down.
4. You have permission to block anyone who leaves hateful comments, immediately.
5. You also have permission to leave the comments (free engagement, yes please!!!).
6. Confident people don't cut others down in the comments. This tells you everything you need to know about people who do.
7. Body positivity is for EVERYONE.
8. You do not need to be a size 0 with perfect hair, skin, and outfits to take photos, build a business, or show up.
9. It is easy to be brave behind a keyboard. Why don't those people try using that bravery to show up and help others instead of tearing people down?
10. When people see someone showing up confidently as they are, it's incredibly triggering (especially if they haven't done that work themselves yet).
