Do I need to MOT my car or van?

All Agnew Leasing vehicles are registered in Northern Ireland thus they fall under NI rule. Cars require an MOT on the fourth year from the point of registration and Vans require an MOT on the third year from the point of registration. A member of the maintenance team will contact the driver prior to the MOT expiry date to assist with making an appointment at either the Manufacturer dealer or Kwik-Fit depending on the repairs required.

Can I take my car abroad?

European Breakdown cover is included in all Full Maintenance packages supplied by Agnew Leasing. To activate your cover please follow the procedure below:

  • ?Contact the manager of your fleet before taking the vehicle out of the UK. It is important that you are adequately covered to your, and their satisfaction, and you have the necessary documents to prove it.
  • To use a leased vehicle in mainland Europe, obtain authorised approval by way of a VE103B form. This will cost £12.50+VAT. This must be completed two weeks prior to any planned trip to Europe. To request a VE103B contact our 24hr Driver Helpline on 02890386606.

If the VE103B has not been obtained, your vehicle may be impounded whilst abroad. This is a legal requirement that must be adhered to.

Once a VE103B form has been issued, this will activate your AA European Recovery with our full maintenance contracts through our AA Fleet Europe policy.




What is covered in my Maintenance agreement?

We include:

  • Servicing
  • Maintenance
  • Tyres (any damaged tyres will be replaced within the maintenance budget. Any replacements in the event of theft, abuse, neglect, or vandalism will be recharged)
  • Batteries
  • Exhaust
  • Mechanical breakdown cover
  • Any worn items

We don't include:

  • Glass / windscreens
  • Accident damage
  • Driver abuse items
  • Replacement items through damage and neglect




How do I book a service?

For those customers who have a “Maintenance” or “Fleet Management” agreement please follow the below guidelines

To book your vehicle in for a service/repair you can:

  • Click on the below link to ‘book a service’. By entering your postcode, it will advise you of your closest dealership. A courtesy vehicle can also be requested.

  • Book directly with your local dealership and advice they contact Agnew Leasing on the 1-Link system for approval.

Who do I contact if I need tyres?

For those customers who have a “Maintenance” or “Fleet Management” agreement please follow the below guidelines

Agnew Leasing use Kwik-Fit and Modern Tyres as our preferred suppliers of tyres.

To book an appointment for replacement tyres you can:

Click on the below link to “Book Tyres”. By entering your registration, you can arrange an appointment at your local Kwik-Fit branch or a mobile appointment at a location of your choosing.

The legal tread depth on a tyre is 1.6mm and it is vitally important that you arrange to replace your tyres before they exceed this legal limit
