Let's Talk About Good Fat!

Alright guys, I know you probably hate me after spilling the tea about fried food last week but hey! not all fat is bad for our beautiful bodies, in fact, some can be very necessary.

Have you ever heard of such a thing as "good fat"? It may sound counterintuitive, but it's true! Good fats are essential for your body—they help keep your skin and hair healthy, provide energy, and even aid in absorbing certain vitamins.?

Before moving forward, let's get to know the 3 kinds of fat that exist:

1- Unsaturated fat: is a type of fat with double or triple bonds in its molecules, making it liquid at room temperature (Biochemical stuff).

2- Saturated fats: Saturated fat is a type of fat in which the fatty acid chains have all single bonds, they are typically solid at room temperature and sometimes called 'solid fats'.

3- Trans fat: Trans fats are a type of unsaturated fat that comes in two forms: natural from ruminant animals and artificial. Natural trans fats are safe in moderation, but artificial ones may lead to health issues.

So what exactly is good fat? Good fats come from plant sources like nuts, seeds, avocados and olives. They also come from animal sources such as fish or eggs. These types of foods contain unsaturated fatty acids that are beneficial for our bodies.

Good fats can be used in place of unhealthy saturated or trans-fats when cooking or baking at home. This will help to reduce cholesterol levels while providing us with essential nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids which have been linked to improved heart health and cognitive function among other benefits!?

?Eating these types of food regularly can also help you feel fuller longer due to their high fibre content which helps regulate blood sugar levels over time; this means fewer cravings throughout the day too!
