3/ ?? Artist Highlight of the week:

This week, I decided to highlight Nina Chanel Abney. CryptoPunks recently announced “Super Punk World,” curated by the project’s first Punk in Residence, Nina Chanel Abney. The collection will be displayed at Jack Shainman Gallery, New York.

Nina Chanel Abney is an American artist exploring themes of racism, sexism, homophobia, and pop culture in her work.

Abney uses bright colors and symbolism and often creates tension between playful images and serious themes.

She’s well known in the Web3 space due to her partnership with GODA and AvantArte. She started a series of NFTs called Super Cool World, which also includes a collection of prints.

Nina also partnered with Jordan Brand, creating a beautiful clothing line and a collaborative iteration of the Air Jordan 3.

Her works have become iconic and are held in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and many more.
