With so much going on for businesses to consider, all organisations are finding their way back in this time of change. There is a generation that have had their fair share of change themselves missing out on their rite of passage, not being able to take exams, attend school proms and that pivotal last day of school, these are things they won’t get back. A great talent pool that is looking for support to start a new journey.
Since 1 August 2020, the government has introduced a new payment of £2,000 to employers in for each new apprentice, they hire aged under 25, and a £1,500 aged 25 and over.
These payments will be in addition to the existing £1,000 already provided for new 16-18-year-old apprentices.
This means employers could receive up to £3,000 for hiring 16 to 18-year-old apprentices from August to January – a great way to give your business the edge.
The type of skill building that apprenticeships provide – from the ground-up – can really benefit all parties as it adapts training to the needs of the business We are already reading about some great employers investing in apprenticeships so why not join them.
