Let’s talk about…Lips!
As you know, I offer lip blush as a permanent makeup procedure. But why have it?
As we age, we lose the definition in the border of our lips known as the ‘vermillion border’. Lip blush treatments can redefine this border & give us a little more colour to the lips. The shading technique I use compliments the natural lip colouring and although you can still wear your favourite lipsticks & glosses over the top, you can also just wear a clear lip gloss, hence the name ‘Gloss & Go!’.
Here are some myth busters surrounding Lip blush treatments:
-???????You can absolutely still wear your own lipsticks & lipglosses over the top of your lip blush treatment.
-???????Lip blush will fade up to 75% from the colour we implant on the day of the treatment – you have to go quite bright to retain colour!
-???????I cannot make your lips any bigger! This would require filler, we cannot implant pigment outside of the vermillion border. Your facial skin is very different to the skin of your lips & will heal very differently
-????????Lip blush requires 2 treatments to retain the pigment in the lips. All my prices include a top up 6 weeks after the first treatment
-???????Filler or lip blush first? I would recommend if you are thinking about either treatment, start if possible with the lip blush. Once your lips are more defined, you can then asses how much filler you decide to have. Those who have a lip blush treatment tend to find they do not want as much filler in the lips as they initially thought.
