Let’s Take a Moment – Let’s Talk

We provide COMPANIES with a CONCIERGE EXPERIENCE to fit their GROUP BENEFIT and INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE needs.
At the start of every year, near the end of January, we take a moment to acknowledge Bell Let’s Talk Day: a day dedicated to facilitating dialogue, breaking down stigma, and driving conversation around mental health.
The theme of this year’s Let’s Talk Day is youth mental health –?prioritizing it, addressing it, and creating a world in which young people can feel comfortable speaking to mental health and raising their hand when in crisis. We’re breaking from our regular posting cadence today to dedicate this space to resources that can help drive conversations around mental illness, encourage mental wellness, and let anyone wrestling with their own mental health know that they are not alone.

For People Struggling with Mental Illness

Let’s change the fact that 1.25 million young Canadians are in a position where they need help navigating mental health issues.
Let’s change the fact that one in two young people in our country need help with mental health – but aren’t getting the help they need.
And perhaps most importantly of all, let’s change the fact one in four people in Canada have considered suicide as a result of mental health issues. ??
Thank you for taking the time today to focus on these issues and help further the conversation around youth mental health in Canada. Change takes time, but it starts with each and every one of us: with a kind gesture, a caring smile, and a simple invitation to, “Hey –?let’s talk.”
