The human society has already produced millions of reports, articles and books on the increasing trend of poverty and discrepancy relating to the rights of economically and socially marginalized people in the world. Have we ever thought of ourselves really working in the field to fight with poverty and preventing the discrepancy? Just putting forward the words of advocacy and highlighting right based issues is inadequate for the people who are in need of the real support. Have we ever compared the investments for the public media campaigns against the real field level efforts in favor of the marginalized groups? Can we minimize the investments made for advocacy and maximize direct support at the grass root level programs? Isn't it a high time to rethink about such strategies? Do we still need the massive public media campaigns and series of advocacy reports just to prove that there is poverty and discrepancy? Where are the boundaries of our responsibilities?
