In order to improve the overall health of the population, we need to stop propogating the lies, myths, and untruths about what to eat.
Here is what it said in a recent Huffington Post article:
"After all, it might take you an hour to burn 400 calories in the gym, but so can swapping out a greasy burger with a baked chicken sandwich."
Calories are NOT created equal and you cannot out-excercise a bad diet.
Sugars and carbohydrates increases INSULIN, the hormone that tells your body to STORE fat. When you excercise, your body will burn SUGAR, until it is all gone.
In other words, if you turn the steering wheel on your car LEFT, it will NOT go RIGHT no matter how hard you try.
Go ahead and eat that "greasy" burger and chicken sandwich, just skip the bread!
Eating FAT does not make you fat.
Sugar and carbohydrates make you fat, unhealthy, and are the major causes of heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer's disease.
My diet consists of 85% saturated fat and I have never felt better in my life!
