Let’s Start a Conversation

If we’re connected on LinkedIn it’s likely that we’ve worked together, met at a conference or networking event (pre-pandemic!), or otherwise have common professional interests.??Over the last 20+ years I’ve enjoyed an interesting career path that began with technology development research in the semiconductor industry, then shifted into working in multiple industries and sectors in the areas of program/project management, strategy, and process improvement.?In short, I found that I enjoy helping bring structure to chaos. The common thread of these three areas is that they help organizations:

  • Establish clarity of focus and determine if they are working on the “right” projects
  • Become more effective with “getting things done”
  • Create more structure around the execution of their projects so that they are delivering their intended value

Whether you are the CEO of a nonprofit organization, a VP or COO of an IT organization, or a PMO Director of a public sector organization I’m sure you can relate to the three items above.?These topics are relevant to leaders of organizations across all sectors and industries.

I’d love to engage in conversation with you around how you can move from what I refer to as simply “doing stuff” to having confidence that your organization is working on the “right” projects and programs, that you’re doing so in an organized and effective manner, and that you are tracking the key metrics to give you visibility into the information needed on project progress across your organization.

So why do I care?

I enjoy consulting in these areas of focus because we spend much of our waking lives at work and we really should enjoy our work and not feel the weight of work stress every…single…day dealing with:

  • Frustrated and burnt-out project teams who are “working hard” but are not effective in achieving the desired project goals (schedule, budget, scope, business value)
  • Disgruntled customers who are not getting the service or product they have asked and paid for due to broken processes or lack of standard processes within the organization
  • The inability to see projects/programs through to completion because limited resources (people and money) are spread thin attempting to work on too many things at once

It’s truly not necessary to deal with these types of headaches and I’d love to help!

Let me hear from you!

What’s a challenge that you’ve been facing with regard to “getting things done” in your organization??Comment below.?I’d love to hear from you.
