We’ve been busily preparing in our office this week for CIPD’s Festival of Work next Wednesday and Thursday (12-13 June) here in London. This event is a great opportunity to explore the latest innovations, workplace technology, and business management services that are shaping the future of work.The theme of our stand this year is 'Growing a great workplace culture'. Like a garden, with the right seeds and tools and care, I believe culture really do flourish - and help the people within it grow with them. We love the idea of organisations lovingly and patiently cultivating their cultures.

Resolution Masterclass

On Wednesday, 19 June, I’ll be delivering a 2-hour online masterclass with CIPD Hereford and Worcester Branch on one of my favourite topics: alternatives to traditional HR grievance processes.

If you’re struggling with damaging and adversarial systems, trust me, it truly can be better! We’ve seen it happen. I’ll be focusing especially on my Resolution Framework, an award-winning alternative to tranditional grievance, discipline and performance management systems and my FAIR Model? which draws inspiration from systems thinking, positive psychology, appreciative inquiry, restorative justice, behavioural science, principled negotiation, emotional intelligence, and nonviolent communication.

Welcoming new TCM colleagues

A massive welcome to Rahul P. who joined our global team this week to set up and run our new brand, UK Resolution. UK Resolution provides specialist dispute resolution support to the SME and charity sectors and smaller public bodies such as parish councils. Rahul will also support larger organizations who want to fully outsource their resolution processes to an expert third party - what we call 'Resolution Process Outsourcing (RPO).
