Let's Make 2024 White

"We work hard – and play hard!"

That's what one of my former bosses said with conviction. Personally, I'm more in favor of "working sustainably and skipping alcohol at company events." Unfortunately, I've observed that overly indulgent parties can lead to chaos, anxiety, and sadly, illness. While I believe that a glass of wine (or three) can liven up a party, I don't think it's appropriate in a professional setting. The repercussions for both the company and individuals can be disastrous.

What do you think? Am I being too conservative (and boring), or do I have a point?
