Remember that yellow school bus with the muffler spewing out tons of suffocating smoke? That’s what I’m talking about! Ateres Bnos Girls School has unfortunately fallen short and needs two such yellow buses, so these kids too should be able to be feeling nostalgic later on in life. Well, that – and also simply for them to get to school on time!

A Monsey-based Girls school with 350 students, Ateres Bnos is in desperate need for two new school buses. Basically, we’re trying to do here is getting the children to and from school.

Baruch Hashem, the school has just received approval for financing the purchase of the buses, but they still need to come up with a down payment of $36,000 for each bus, at a total of $72,000.

We the parents have decided to raise the amount for covering the down payment, so that our children will be able to arrive to school timely and without having to schlep in the freezing cold.

Which is where you come into the picture. Please help me do my share in accomplishing that. It’s actually pretty simple and straightforward: in the event of us managing to gather the funds for the first bus, an anonymous gracious donor with a big heart will match the money and sponsor the second bus. That’s two Mitzvos – umm, buses – for the price of one!

With 720 kindhearted people like yourself donating $50+ each, we can (and will – let’s be realistic here!) reach this modest goal of $36,000 = X 2.
