Why I’ll be writing about practical AI

Where is AI useful now? Ten seconds have passed, what about now? Or now??

I keep asking that question too- because I work in it & because I’m practical. There’s so much hype and future-looking, it’s hard to tell where AI reality actually is. I’m here to cut through hype and explore the real, practical applications of AI that professionals can use today.?

You- yes, literally you reading this right now- are critical to finding where AI is practical. As much as I can share my own experiences and research, real answers and learnings are only possible by talking to all of you. As a group of people, we collectively know:

• Key value-drivers in different sectors that AI may open up,?
• One-off use cases that did (or didn’t) work as we hoped,
• What’s hard about reliable success from AI (spoiler: a lot), and?
• The latest AI research and advancements that might change all of the above.

My hope is to bring practical uses to AI experts and non-AI experts alike.?
