Let's Grow!

Today marks the end of my first month at Bevy, and the beginning of what's going to be a wild ride. Since moving to San Francisco 18 years ago, I've always been intrigued and inspired by Startups. But I've never had a great opportunity to join one. Until now. I joined Bevy at the end of August, just in time to spend a week working out of "The Garage" before we moved into our new office in Palo Alto.

I'm inspired by Bevy's mission to build communities in real life. As the internet becomes more toxic, digital marketing loses impact and fears over AI and machine learning grow -- the power of communities and human interaction will become more an more important. Bevy was custom built to help teams who value the concept of Customer-to-Customer experiential marketing to grow their user groups, brand advocates and communities.

Bevy was built by some of the team responsible for Startup Grind, a community for Entrepreneurs with chapters in more than 450 cities and 120 countries. Many of the tools they were using were not able to scale. So Bevy was formed. Today, Bevy powers user groups and communities for some of the most innovative brands in the world: Salesforce, Atlassian, Evernote, Qualtrics, Harvard, Asana, Docker, Fiverr, Duolingo, Branch and more. Being part of this cutting edge community is exactly what I wanted for my first step into a role where making an impact is part of the daily the routine.
