Let's go to Lahore this week!

The Shoutout:

DECLARING PAKISTAN – THE REGIONAL ICT HUB

When we are let down by several comments on possessing the Green Passport during the long Eid holidays it gets too tiresome to explain to every touring relative that Pakistan is a great country with lots of potential. This is the future hub, and investments will land in this greener part of the map #asia. Usually, those who were industry owners in the past are happy being called MDs and Senior Development Managers in the Western world #Pakistanis where they work early morning till late in the mid-day for a better lifestyle #immigrants. They are now missing the old titles of sole proprietors, Partners, and Owners of any mid-sized SME in Pakistan.

Since childhood, we have heard about the challenge that cousins from across the border face, even though they love their nation from the bottom of their hearts. They speak better English and get visas easily. We on the other hand have struggled to show our love with our country, speak foreign languages, and live with the constant pressure of rejected visas. The percentile that were able to migrate abroad regularly visit their forgotten homeland twice a year, during which they explain us, how much better their lives are. We don’t need to hear them — we read about this often enough on Google and get our prospects from AI options.

Now, let’s talk about those who want to invest here in Pakistan, spend time with Pakistanis and bring foreigners to Pakistan. They need a big round of applause – that’s the only reason why I asked all my fellows and seniors to pack their bags and book Lahore tickets this April.

A digital signage entrepreneur named Yousuf Ezzi Yousuf Mustafa Ezzi led the race and was quick in deciding – he told me in the previous ITCN he had promised to get a stall in the coming ITCN #itcnasia. I got his message and was thrilled to read, he had a registered stall number. I immediately asked to arrange few additional chairs so we could accompany him and he was super excited. Following him, this year we plan to attend in April 2024 and in August 2024 – consider us as participants in this mega show. We want to participate as we want to show the world the potential this country has. #map #worldmap

What excites me more is this is a pure Pakistan show. Our country will be presenting to the world where we are in IT. The great PASHA Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) , PSEB Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) , PIAIC PIAIC , Ashreitech AshreiTech Academy , and many others will be showcasing their learning products and expanding services. We must join as we are in Pakistan, learning in Pakistan, earning in Pakistan, and investing in Pakistan. When started we were a team of 2 – today we are 100 plus. I assure you this country has the potential to produce talent that will help us get to 1000 men-team #bohradevelopers next quarter; if not, the next year – with Allah's will.

ITCN Asia 2024

What engaged me more is the ITCN Asia’s ITCN Asia website claim – it lists they have 800 booths, 2000+ Global Brands, 250+ International Delegates, 500+ Government Leaders, 15000+ CxOs, and 45000+ Visitors – so if I love Pakistan and 2000 Global Brands are coming in my country – then I must be in Lahore to welcome them and to assure them that yes, Pakistan is the right place and the right country for all your investments. You will get business-minded people, hardworking human resources, and fertile land for new generations and upcoming technology-pro students who will be ruling the region soon. It might sound a little big but while learning archery, we were taught that we should aim higher than the target. I am sure we as a nation will surely bring Pakistan to a level where all International IT gurus will plan to invest in this part as people here care more.

If time allows, I will keep LinkedIn Updated with my observations in Lahore. Will add some Phajjay kay Paaye, some morning Lassi, and pictures with the hospitable Lahore folk. Already whats app invites have started :) Stay Blessed, Stay Connected.
