Let’s go fund tomorrow.

Since starting Kaas, I’ve been lucky to have received so many pitch decks from founders building under-the-radar consumer tech in Europe. It’s amazing to see the wide range of businesses currently in the make. And it’s such a privilege to be trusted with pitch decks and strategies of founding teams. So far we're exploring 3 investments; all D2C startups with an emerging foothold in Western Europe. For each investment we're putting together a curated group of private investors who besides capital will bring skills, network and/or knowledge to help fast-forward new ventures. Individual capital allocation doesn’t matter; we act as one angel group, represented as a single line on the cap table, with one common goal; to unlock competitive advantage for our portfolio companies. For individual investors; what you know, who you know and how you can help is most important.

Kaas offers a new approach in early-stage investing, with a focus on pre-Venture Capital deals. The idea of raising a founder-friendly round from people who truly care, and want to add value, is fundamental to the vision for Kaas. We help companies grow faster and we use our network to unlock new opportunities, including future funding from leading VCs.

At Kaas we will continue to track the European landscape for emerging consumer tech and on a deal-by-deal basis we will move quickly to join as strategic investors.

If you’re interested in joining our investor list, and get access to our deal flow, just send me a private message.

Thanks to IDInvest for some recent numbers on the Consumer Tech space in Europe;

  • European startups are attracting a larger share of VC money: in 2019, 16% of all VC investments in the consumer sector went to European startups, compared with 11% 5 years ago.
