Let's Get Personal

This month, I am getting personal.

I was going to write about how to free up your time, focusing on your business instead, let's get personal and share what's been going on here Blake Linklater Coaching and provide some value.

I've been getting a lot of advisors and entrepreneurs say

I am spending hours on admin and paperwork, I don't have to focus on doing the things I enjoy most.

The paper work takes forever

Let's tackle that later.

I am big believer in free time and doing things you enjoy. So that you can rest and recover and go back at it the next.

Last week, I took both my daughters out to Canadas Wonderland for our quarterly daddy daughter days. We went on the tallest roller coaster, the longest deep dive. I was definitely scared as I hadn't been on coasters in 15 years or so. But for me it was a comfort crushing challenge. It was something to push me out of my comfort zone to expand it. I have my clients do these assignments all the time and it forces us to grow.

For instance, the first time on Yukon Striker, I scream the entire time. The second time not as much, but after the second ride I was feeling okay I am comfortable with us and want to go again right away.

Pushing past our comfort zone forces us to grow, to expand what we thought possible.

Lastly, one of my personal goals is lose 15 pounds. One my doctor says I need to, two I want to get back to my weight when I began my career in financial advising. It's something I am working on, the working out isn't the problem I love that - the diet is the struggle.
