Where have you had the opportunity to work in the past??

I worked for the University of Tampa's wellness initiative, Live Well UT as their Interfaith Coordinator to help spearhead spiritual wellness and help students across different religious denominations learn more about one another. I also worked as a research fellow for the University's Courts, Law, and Analytics Policy Lab. In addition, I worked as the Campus Director for Bumble, where I managed a marketing team and hosted events to promote healthy relationships and networking.

Is there anything you’re reading or listening to right now that’s inspiring you professionally?

I've been reading “Just Change” by Tynesia Boyea-Robinson. The book itself focuses on how we can get creative in inspiring change and collaboration in our communities to attain lasting impact. The goal is to help create equitable access to opportunities that will ensure a sustainable national economy. Not only is social justice a personal interest of mine, but I've also been able to learn from these communication methods to help empower my nonprofit partners and share with our sales team to do the same!

Of all the nonprofits you help support, is there a cause in particular you love supporting??

CASA has served as a guiding light in my life and career. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, where abused and neglected children in the foster care system receive legal advocates to represent their interests and welfare. I grew up working with my local CASA affiliate, where my father and grandfather served on the board. When I got to college, I picked my sorority Kappa Alpha Theta because that was their national philanthropy, and helped to fundraise for the organization and convey the impact of the organization.?

When I found out Harness worked with CASA it was a no-brainer for me to begin working at the company. I get the opportunity to now meet with CASAs and child abuse prevention organizations across the country to share what I've learned, and provide guidance when it comes to fundraising. I continue to serve as my Theta chapter's keynote speaker for their annual philanthropy day and take what I've learned in my career to inspire girls to make a lasting impact. In fact, I've started the application process to become a CASA myself.?

If you had to pick one, what’s the number one reason why you love working at Harness??

I love being able to work alongside the Harness family to empower nonprofits and alleviate their biggest challenges. I get to wake up and go to work with some of my closest friends at a company that makes changes every day with the goal to make a greater impact in this world.
