Motivation:
These terrorists were motivated by radical Islamist ideology propagated by al-Qaeda, led by Osama bin Laden. They resented U.S. military presence in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, and opposed U.S. foreign policies that they viewed as supportive of Israel and oppressive to Muslim populations.
The September 11 attacks were meticulously planned by Arab terrorists and intended to cause maximum destruction, symbolizing their opposition to U.S. influence in the Muslim world.
On September 11, 2001, 2,977 victims were killed in the terrorist attacks in the United States. Of these, the vast majority were U.S. citizens. Here’s a breakdown of the fatalities:
Out of the total 2,977 victims, approximately 2,600 were U.S. citizens. However, there were also many victims from other countries, including the UK, Canada, India, Japan, and others.
The total death toll does not include the 19 hijackers.
A total of 412 first responders perished in the September 11, 2001, attacks while trying to save others.
The breakdown is as follows:
These brave first responders rushed into the World Trade Center buildings to help evacuate people and manage the crisis, many losing their lives when the towers collapsed. Their sacrifice is one of the most poignant aspects of the tragedy.
May all the victims rest in peace. We the true American people have not forgotten this treacherous terrorist act of Arabs against our Nation.
