Let's start from the beginning. Since 2017, Remote-how together with the world's leading #remote experts is on the mission to help companies create remote-first workplaces. If you believe in at least one of the points from our manifesto, welcome to the #remote-first family.

  • Company culture needs to be based on trust and transparency
  • Work should be time & place independent
  • Work should be based on outcome-based
  • Leaders should be Mentors, not a task-schedulers
  • The workplace should be diverse & inclusive

When the whole world went remote in 2020, we knew that the fight to keep this as a permanent change in how we work won't be easy. It's July 2022, and businesses all over the world need to go through an actual remote-first transformation (going beyond “tips & tricks), and need to step up! But... some people want to stop the revolution.

?? Therefore, we decided to act!!! Today we are launching the Remote-First Institute to fight for a better, remote-first future.?


Remote-First Institute is a not-for-profit organization created together with the world’s leading future of work experts. We are on a mission to advocate for a remote-first work approach and provide companies with world-class know-how on how to implement it.??


?? The Institute has four main goals.

Goal 1: Counteract the global "back to the office" movement.

Goal 2: Create Global Standards for companies on remote-first processes.

Goal 3: Produce high-quality events, articles, reports, and analyses.

Goal 4: Cultivate a global community for remote-first experts.

We are calling all workers, leaders, subject matter experts, and entrepreneurs who want to support the mission to join the fight!

Our initiative brought together top experts from all over the world. Together with the growing group of pre-vetted experts, we are already working on the first projects that will help drive the remote-first adoption.
