Let's discuss sustainability in ticketing
Last week our new Working Group #Ecological Aspects met for the first time.
This Working Group has been established to understand the impact of #ticketing and payments within the #publictransport sector. While the issuance and #sustainability of the ticket is a primary consideration, the holistic view needs to be taken looking at the entire ecosystem including those systems needing to support the delivery of ticket/payment at point of consumption/issuance, then through the life cycle management supporting the passenger as they use public transport.?
In order to understand the scope of the Working Group different experts met, shared their thoughts and defined the next steps. Ferdinand Burgersdijk MBA and Steve H. will compile a document with next steps on which to base the group's further work.?STA members who want to be part of this group and bring some of these discussions forward, please do not hesitate to contact Julie Liburd .?
