Let’s Create Digital Operations?
ISSUE 7– Talent and Growth
In Articles 1 through 7 of this series, I’ve explored some of the “how” behind a digital transformation.?Today, I’d like to talk about the “who” – IBMers. IBM is able to continuously unleash the promise of technology and drive progress for business and society because our people embrace a growth mindset.
What is it?
At our core, IBMers’ purpose is “To be the catalyst that makes the world work better.”
Every IBMer aspires to be a catalyst, combining their skills and energy with IBM technology to solve difficult problems and optimize mission-critical systems such as electrical grids; mobile networks; and banking, transportation and healthcare systems. Making these critical infrastructures faster, more productive and more secure requires talent that is ready for today’s challenges and preparing for tomorrow’s possibilities is IBM’s mission.
IBMers do that by adopting a growth mindset – each of us staying curious and open to feedback, learning from everyone and always focusing on solutions rather than problems.
