SUPERF3ST is Superfly’s attempt to reinvent the festival again by putting the community at the center and empowering them to create a music and arts festival unlike any other. 25 years and thousands of shows later, Superfly and its shows and festivals are known more for their community of fans and friends than the music itself.

As a long-time music fan who has attended hundreds of shows and dozens of festivals, I am excited to be a founder of SUPERF3ST. And we announced today that my firm, Velvet Sea Ventures, joined Tom Brady’s Autograph.io and JDS Sports in funding a new company created by Superfly, SuperNFT, to execute the community’s vision. We expect SUPERF3ST to be one of many SuperNFT NFT projects that help communities come together to design and co-create experiences they had previously only imagined.

Several experienced NFT artists and builders joined us as investors, including Art Blocks founder Erick Calderon, also known as Snowfro, who created the groundbreaking Chromie Squiggle generative art project, Pixel Vault, Inc. founder Sean Gearin (a/k/a/ GFunk) and LinksDAO founder Mike Dudas among others.
