Let's Create Change for Caregivers!

Today, I bring to your attention a growing issue that has captured my heart and demands our collective attention: the high number of employees who are caregivers for another adult.

According to AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving, a staggering 53 million Americans are providing unpaid caregiving to adults, with a significant 61% of them being employees. These caregivers often find themselves facing difficulties in coordinating care while sacrificing their own health and well-being. It is disheartening to know that 45% of these dedicated employees have also experienced a financial impact due to their caregiving responsibilities.

However, I firmly believe that with every challenge comes an opportunity to create meaningful change. This is where our shared vision for supporting the health and wellness of our people aligns. I am convinced that we, collectively, can spearhead an affordable and global transformative solution that sets a new standard for employee care and well-being.

I am the CEO/Founder of You Define Wellness, an emerging, global organization with a commitment to innovative and holistic approaches to traditional problems. As a caregiver for my parents, I understand the challenges in caring for another adult, be it a parent, spouse, sibling, or child.?With this knowledge, I have developed a groundbreaking concept: a unique benefit program tailored explicitly for employees who are caregivers for an at risk/special needs person.

This program aims to provide comprehensive support, education, resources, and tools to help caregivers manage their responsibilities more efficiently while prioritizing their own health and happiness. By addressing the challenges faced by these dedicated individuals, we not only elevate their quality of life but also foster a stronger, more resilient workforce.

I am genuinely excited about the prospect of collaborating with America’s businesses to bring this visionary initiative to life. To make this a reality, we still have much work to do in building collaborative partners and employers willing to champion this cause alongside us... and we need help convincing America's largest employers to step up as the employment leaders that they are!

I seek your guidance and assistance in getting connected to the right individuals so that we can engage in beneficial discussions with key decision-makers, align our resources, and jointly create a trailblazing program that sets a new standard in employee support and well-being.
