Past event: The role of the future in the BA practice

On Tuesday, 14th of May, we hosted an interactive hybrid workshop with Namahn and Vera Kralova, CBAP, our Czech colleague.

• Time is always subconsciously influencing our decisions and opinions. We are emotional beings.
• Preoccupied with the planning of a project and the related challenges, a BA is often forced to be oriented towards the future. It makes us also see time as the enemy instead of an ally.
• Not all stakeholders are oriented towards the future. It can be difficult to explain the relevance of some solutions to those oriented towards the past or the present.
• It can help to make a good design based on concrete needs and desires, and make it in small steps.

Conference: BA & Beyond 2024

We're looking forward to the BA & Beyond conference on Monday and Tuesday, 3-4 June in Leuven, Belgium.

Your IIBA Brussels Chapter will be present. Have a look at the promising programme and join us during the workshops, talks and stand at the networking breaks.

Hybrid event: AGM and Lean Coffee on BA Driving Strategic Initiatives

On Thursday, 20 June, you are welcome to our next, hybrid, event.

The evening will start with a brief overview of our Chapter's strategy, our past activities and future plans, followed by the brief formal part of our Annual General Meeting.

The Lean Coffee will be facilitated by Bart Verbeke (in-person) and Bert Heymans.

This event is for free, but registration is needed.
