So…why? What’s the big deal with LinkedIn?
Well, here’s the BPM take: that Great Resignation didn’t quite work out for anybody.
We saw a major surge in late 2020 through 2021 of Americans leaving (and losing) their jobs. Now, desks are empty and many people are without a paycheck. The uptick in usage of LinkedIn may correlate with people looking to finally get back into the job market again.
As a result, the professional industry is becoming more and more competitive. LinkedIn offers so many benefits to help land a job, secure leads, or make new connections that it’s basically cemented itself as a tool you need to get used to if you want to find a job in your skillset.
What do you think? Is LinkedIn going to continue to blow up, or will this surge in downloads level off soon?
