let's co-create

The world can no longer look like a puzzle. We can't just follow the same path, day after day. It's not working anymore.

The game of incremental margins, pieces of pies, share of wallet, cost per acquisition, click-through rates is starting to get tired. There are other more important KPIs to look at. The incessant quest of winning the competitive game by just focusing on marginal innovation is not bringing real solutions for the new problems emerging every second.

Real problems this world is facing now still need solutions.

Disruptors with new, breakthrough ideas, come with new ways of doing things and they enact change of behaviour. They also inspire curious minds to keep dreaming. Creation breeds creation. If we let go of the thought that only ideas that seem like "the next big thing" can bring significant impact, this is when change really happens. Sparks get ignited everywhere. More often than not, they get sucked into the puzzle, a lot of the times just swollen by a bigger piece.

Yet, the most fun thing is, we CAN do it and we don't have to do it alone. Most inventions throughout history have been collaborative exercises, jumping through decades or centuries through inspiration or through co-creation. The Steve Jobs model is not a model, it is an anecdote.

In order to not get caught up in the puzzle game, let's let ideas fly, let's seek partnerships and let's co-create rather than always compete. And maybe together we can take on the big guys, by creating our own pie. The incentive is huge. The outcome is to determine the legacy we leave behind.

There is enough pie for everyone!
