Let's Cheeseburger Your Business

What's going on in your world right now?

Exciting things are happening over here.

We're building our Super Channel.

And yes, it's as big of a deal as it sounds.

Without getting too technical and jargony, we're creating the ability to have a channel within a channel.

So think of platforms like Disney Plus; within that, they have the Marvel channel.

This allows our B2B clients to segregate their content throughout different channels based on which unit of the business needs it.

It's essentially a new way of categorizing their video library, not just by the content style but by the intended audience.

We are consistently innovating our platform, not by market research but by finding new ways to solve problems for our clients and figuring out how.

Content is so easily lost.

Think about it: you immediately put a video in a file within a computer, and it's hard to find.

We're just giving people a place to categorize videos in a fun, easy and unique way. They can then find and manage that content however they choose.

We want businesses to have their version of Disney or Netflix!

Cheeseburger Your Business

My advice is to cheeseburger your business.

McDonald's is a 100+ billion dollar brand that's basically run by 16-year-old's.

Obviously, they're doing something right.

The process of making a Maccas cheeseburger is seamless.

So seamless that even school kids can follow it and not f*** it up.

How do you make every process within your business as seamless as that?

You probably know what I'm going to say next...

Surprise! It's a video, lol.

The problem has historically been that video hasn't been easy to make or distribute. But now, video is at our fingertips.

We've got screen recordings, smartphones, and the ability to talk over PowerPoint.

It has become so simple and easy to make.

But then you go to email it, and it's too big.

Where do you even store it without it getting lost amongst all your other files?

That's the part that we play here.

We're giving you a way to make all of that information accessible.

We're giving you a way to cheeseburger your business.

The More You Know

We offer our clients all the analytics from every video they upload, which is pretty cool, right?

But why is that important, you ask?

Well, let me paint a picture for you. Have you ever sent an important SOP to your team and had no idea if anyone has actually seen it or not?

It's like shouting into a void and hoping for the best.

But with our platform, you can not only see who watched your videos but also how much of it they watched!

That's some next-level stuff if you ask me.

And imagine if we offered this to university lecturers - their students would be sweating buckets!

But in all seriousness, this feature can be a valuable tool in ensuring that important information reaches those effectively.

Overall, understanding your analytics is crucial for anyone looking to improve their results. The more you know, the better the outcome for all.

Protecting Your Data

Data protection is the biggest concern in our industry today.

With so much talk about privacy and security, everyone wants to know that their data is safe.

That's why we've made it our mission to put control back into the hands of our clients.

Unlike other platforms, we believe that you should own your data, analytics, and content. When you upload content, you retain full autonomy over it. We don't claim ownership of your work, and we never will.

We believe that your data should always belong to you.

No more feeding the Youtube beast without knowing who your audience is or where your data is going.

We take privacy and security seriously, and we know it's important to our clients too. That's why we've built our platform to provide the highest level of safety and protection possible.

You can rest assured that your information is secure with us.

My Business Diary

How do I mitigate risk in business?

When I started Vidzing, I knew it was going to cost me a lot.

I knew that it might not work and fail because I'd never done anything like that before.

But I just thought to myself.

What's the worst-case scenario?

How much am I willing to lose?

Then I just go all in and don't think about it.

Risk can really paralyze people from making good decisions.

If you're constantly thinking about potential losses, you don't always make good choices.

So my thing with risk is:

Figure out what you're comfortable risking, Know the worst-case scenario, Give yourself an out, whatever that may look like, and then just commit 100% to what you're doing.

You can always pivot and change along the way, but you can't be scared.

What are important skills and qualities for an entrepreneur to have?

I have this thing where I think everything's going to work out.

And if it doesn't, I'm good at rewriting my story to find the positive in what happens.

So during COVID, when things were really bad, and we were losing a lot of money, I came up with the idea for Vidzing.

You can always find a silver lining in things and learn from them.

And I think that's key for entrepreneurs.

You also have to be good at moving on.

So I might get down about something not working out.

I'll give myself a little pity party, but I'm good the following day.

I figure out my next move and get on with it; flexible optimism is what I like to call it!

Client Shout Out

One of our clients I wanted to highlight doing cool stuff with our space is Studio Red Wellness.

We're about to launch their wellness courses through our platform for corporate companies.

Their aim is to make employees feel calm, happy and well in todays busy working world.

We're really excited to be contributing to something that's going to help the well-being of workers throughout New Zealand!

...that's all for now!

See you again soon.
