It's going to sound like a weird question, but have any of you been recognized 'on the street' like Dave Jacobs above? Perhaps because of creative content that you made rather than athleticism? In my case, I guess I have, but not in the way you'd think (or that I'm proud of).

One of the reasons I'm in Kansas City is basically because I crash landed here... quite literally. The Prius that's in my Failure Guy album art, seen here to the right, is no more. While it had already been cosmetically totaled a couple years before in a hail storm, it met its official end in Kansas City after a long road trip all around the US. Believe it or not, I crashed it into a parked car (which was empty)...

In just a moment you'll see a picture of it after the accident, and all I'll say is that I'm certainly lucky it wasn't worse!

But Ben, you're saying, what does this have to do with anything?

I was at a bar in Kansas City, after living here less than a year, almost 9 months after the accident that left me without my Failure Mobile. I ask the bartender for a drink, and she says "Hey, are you that Failure guy?". I say "Uhh, yeah, but there's no way you know who I am because of that?" and that's when said me it was her car that I had crashed into.

What are the odds of that?!?!? But... I made a new friend that night!
