Let's celebrate entrepreneurship!??

Is it only me, or do we all feel that we are approaching the end of the year, and it's time to recap and make new plans? I mean, kruidnoten made their appearance in August, so I feel the festive mood since the summer already...

Anyway, on?December 8, the last workshop of Amsterdam Squared?will take place. So, if you want to elaborate on your Proof of Concept and learn how you can make valuable connections with corporates, Ruperto Calatrava will be there to help you through the process. At the same time, we have some exciting milestones to celebrate and inspire us for the time to come.

Same period last year,?TOMAS was launched, and we can proudly say that it has been a successful journey with a lot of new learnings for local talent development. By hosting 4 editions of TOMAS Connect, we hope we gave the space for companies and talent initiatives to connect and grow together. If you are still unaware of what TOMAS stands for, it is a "Talent?Ontwikkeling?Match &?Select platform. (ontwikkeling = development. One more Dutch word to add to your vocabulary?? )

This is not all...in previous newsletters, I mentioned that people are the most important element in an ecosystem. But what would people be without solidarity with one another? ??On the 7th of December, on the national 'Day of the Volunteer',?Business Involved celebrates its 1-year anniversary with a meetup at Equals Amsterdam.?

& BIG NEWS FOR THE TECH ECOSYSTEM! ??

While conducting?research on failure?in the tech ecosystem, our researcher? Sarah Herzog , decided to join forces with Amsterdam Law Hub to find an innovative solution to the problem of no support system for failing entrepreneurs. That's how? RestartUp Netherlands ?was born, a new?initiative powered by Amsterdam Law Hub , StartupAmsterdam , Universiteit van Amsterdam and Gemeente Amsterdam ?to help entrepreneurs navigate insolvency.?If you want to learn more about it,?don't miss out on the event that Dutch Startup Association and RestartUp Netherlands ?will host on November 30.?
