Let your LinkedIn Speak for you.

Alike all other social networks, LinkedIn potrays what you post, what you are and mostly what you want to be in your professional lives. The point of differentiation for LinkedIn would be how you post your genuine qualities, experiences and desires towards your professional growth. 

I have been revamping my profile for the past couple of months now and realized how you can use a small space to let people know about you. Let’s be honest it’s not easy to make people look at you from the same perspective as your own. It’s then I took efforts to read articles, view profiles of all of my connections(emphasis on some influencers) and understand how each tab or field on LinkedIn is perused by the recruiters.

Unlike the North American countries, recruiters in India are still not strong into the LinkedIn game(not to mention we are still under the reference and influences model). Has anyone thought why and how can we change that? LinkedIn uses basic filters like your current employment status, skills, endorsements, role names to reach out to candidates. Keeping the same updated has helped me reach to not less than 5 recruiters in a span of 2 months. And I would like to emphasize that I have actually landed a professional opportunity with a connection. Now that I could do it, I wanted to pass on the message and reach out to the job seekers out there and help them in a way possible.
