(Isaiah 64:5a)

“Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways…..”

There is a difference between being happy and being joyful, while the latter comes from your spirit the former is a product of your mind. You may be happy because of a good news you received or when things around excite you, but joy comes from your spirit as you set your heart on the things of the Spirit.

The joy that the Spirit of God gives is lasting and it is that which prepares you to welcome the presence of God. So just like we see in our scriptural text, you can encourage angelic activities around you and receive from God when you choose to be joyful (Isa. 12:3).

Today therefore, set your heart on the greatness of God and His grace bestowed upon you so you heart may be filled with joy. Then He will come to you and multiply your testimonies. Say Amen to that!

Let's Pray For South Sudan????...

South Sudan is the world’s newest country. The nation was born in a great spirit of unity, happiness, and hope. Thank God for freedom from the long, painful domination by the north Sudan which is now mainly Arab and Muslim, while South Sudan is mainly Black and Christian.

???? We are praying for the Church that Christ will remain their aim and focus.

?? START-UP PRAYER:

Dear Lord, thank you because your joy is my strength. Therefore, I do not permit anything that steals my joy in Jesus name.

? PRAYER FOR JERUSALEM

Father I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (ps 122;6)

?? PRAYER OF REDEDICATION

Dear Father, I worship you today for who you are. You are my Rock and Fortress, and it is in you I live, move and have my being. I am grateful for the gift of this new day in the month of April, and I ask that you renew the right spirit within me and help me to see as you see even as I fellowship with you throughout this month. Help me to become more like you and to live a life that pleases you daily, in Jesus Name. Amen.
