So everyone - let us introduce Ana Aurell, one of our many talented PMs at divM.??

Ana, you have been with divM since 2015! In a constantly changing world, how come you’ve stayed with us for almost 9 years??

It has always been very important for me to steer my own career, influence the choice of my next assignment and competence development, etc. something that divM has always been very open to. At the same time, I was given a great opportunity to get involved in the company itself and shape its future development. And of course, having the best colleagues and a “family feel” in divM helped.??

Family and personal development - two very important pillars of divM, for sure. But what was it from start that made you choose divM – before you knew about all the “perks”?

I felt my values were aligned with divMs, expectations were clear and there was a potential of getting involved. Also, my gut-feeling said that: “Yes, this is the right decision to make”. And here we are 9 years later, I was correct.???

In order to get to know you a little better, what exciting things did you do before you came to divM??

By education, I am an electronics and telecoms engineer. Before becoming a consultant, I worked for Ericsson in three countries over the course of ~10 years. The first position after our family moved from UK to Sweden was in another consultancy in Malm?, which led me back to Ericsson in Lund. I worked there until I joined divM in 2015.??

Impressive resumé Ana, multiple companies, multiple countries, and multiple clients! Lately we’ve seen you in several sustainability related contexts. At divM, we are developing this area – how come you have a growing interest in sustainability???

Our planet, all countries, all companies – we are all facing a big challenge, and it is down to each one of us to take part in developing a solution to this challenge. I would like to contribute to finding a solution which is both commercially sound for the companies and leading to a sustainable future.??

Yes, you’re very right. No matter where we live or what we do, we have to make sure we think and act sustainable. How do you see your role as a PM in divM developing within the sustainability area going forward???

With EU’s ESG reporting requirements, many companies will need support with closing data and reporting gaps, and structuring and streamlining activities around sustainability. With divM’s combined skills and experience, I’m convinced that we will be strategically valuable partner for many small and medium size companies’ sustainability journey. I want to be a part of this journey as I believe it will be both giving and important for my personal development.??
