Tune in here today at 1PM for oral arguments in Let Us Breathe v. City of Chicago. FDLA is part of the legal team bringing this case, which is a concerted effort by community groups and legal organizations to end the widespread practice of Chicago police denying access to phones and attorneys for people who are arrested. The legal team also includes the MacArthur Justice Center, Mandel Legal Clinic, Shiller Preyar Jarard & Samuels, and People's Law Office.
