Even though it's fantastic to sometimes be bold, loud, extroverted, and though it can feel like confidence is synonymous with being outspoken, true confidence isn’t about volume—it’s about belief in yourself, even when no one is watching. Quiet confidence is a powerful force, one that comes from within and doesn't need to be broadcast. So how can you cultivate this kind of internal strength?

For example, if you feel assured in one-on-one conversations but anxious in large meetings, you can prepare questions or comments ahead of time to bring that sense of control into bigger settings. This small but intentional step helps to transfer your comfort zone to new situations.

2. Turn Self-Doubt into Curiosity

Instead of getting trapped in cycles of self-doubt, shift your mindset by turning your uncertainty into curiosity. The next time you feel unsure, ask yourself: "What can I learn from this?" For example, if you're feeling unconfident in a new task, use it as an opportunity to seek out new knowledge. This turns the fear of the unknown into an opportunity for growth.
