Let this be the only way to tie one on.
RUTGERS UNIVERSITY
So Proud of these awesome students
Here’s to all my friends and the many fans and admires that?
have enjoyed wearing our ties throughout the world. I thought you would enjoy seeing this pictures that took place last week at Rutgers University, and the various tie program we discussed, including our Jerry Garcia Art In Neckwear collections, and other neckwear programs.
I was invited back by Professor, Marc Kalan, to speak at Ruckers University for the third time, for their Masters Of Fashion Program.?
It was such an honor to speak to another group of energetic students about my company, Stonehenge Ltd, that created many exciting award-winning fashion statements, all starting with the Jerry Garcia, art in neckwear, which the New York Times called “The best selling lines in the history of neckwear.
Other Stonehenge collections the students had interest in were:
The Moon Rock Collection which launched back at Macy’s on the 25th Anniversary of the first moon walk with my special guest, Astronaut Buzz Aldrin in NY and Alan Shepard in VA.
Over 1000 guest attended this Stonehenge tie event and Press Conference, which was held on the main floor at Macy’s, with over 300 inner city school students invited by Stonehenge to host the press conference and ask questions for Astronaut Aldren. The President of Macy's who introduced both Buzz Aldrin and I, stated “The Moon Rock Collection event, was one of the most exciting events ever held at Macy’s”. During that event, Buzz Aldren signed each Moon Rock tie purchased,?
As I often do when speaking at different venues and schools, I look into the eyes and souls of so many of these listeners and particularly the students, and often see their compassion of? wanting to learn. I was so impressed with their extreme interest and the incredible amount of creative questions they wanted to learn about from many of our neckwear programs. Strategic thinking in fashion, starting new companies and building brands, reasons for consumers to have a stronger reason for a Why to Buy, creating a new customer base, and how to bring back excitement within the fashion industry were only a few of the many questions ask.
They were equally amazed to see how so many famous? Hollywood and Sports Celebrities made personal appearances for many of these Stonehenge Collections to help build these brands.?
A few of these celebrities and hero’s in my eyes who made personal appearances for Stonehenge were, Barbara Sinatra at Bloomingdales NY and Tina Sinatra at Nordstrom LA, to launch our “Frank Sinatra Legendary Neckwear”.?
The Miles Davis family and some members of the original Miles Davis band who played at our private Stonehenge cocktail reception at Bloomingdales NY, to launch “The Art Of Miles Davis in Neckwear.”?

The “Ties For Tibet” Collection was created in honor of the Dalai Lama to help benefit a settlement program that took place in the United States, and for other Tibetans that needed medical help. I was extremely proud when the Dalai Lama presented 100 of these Tibetan ties to world leaders during that visit and was equally honored when his holiness presented a Tibetan prayer to me for our contribution and helping others in need.
Other celebrities helped Stonehenge to create “The Christopher Reeve Collection” were: Paul Newman, Glenn Close, Carly Simon, Daryl Hannah, and Ted Danson. Many other world renowned celebrities also that helped to support this program.?
“The Miracle Collection” was created by Stonehenge from the world of Science, Education and Fashion to help raise funds for the world renowned Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, sold exclusively at Jos.A.Bank Clothiers.

Some of the celebrities that helped Stonehenge build this collection and awareness were:, Gene Wilder, Gloria Estefon, Phil Collins, The Back Street Boys and many others,?
Almost every other Stonehenge collection we created had a tremendous amount of support from so wonderful people from around the world which helped raise millions of dollars for these great organizations, and that also helped to make Stonehenge one of the most creative, fun, and popular neckwear companies in America.?
Thank you once again to all the students at Rutgers University School of Business, my Stonehenge staff, the many talented men and women within the fashion industry that supported Stonehenge throughout the years, and all our neckwear fans from around the world that have loved and collected many of these limited tie collections. I’ve also heard from thousands of our tie wearers throughout the years, so many great and fun stories that they have shared with me about their different Stonehenge ties.
