Let No One Go Hungry
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Anthem) is proud to be partnering with the Hunger Task Force, CBS 58 and the Brewers Community Foundation for the 2020 Drive Thru (and Virtual!) Food Drive. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a big difference for our neighbors in need. We hope you’ll join us.
Anthem has targeted food insecurity as one of our most important community impact priorities. We’re undertaking projects here in Wisconsin and across the country to address this cornerstone of healthier lives and communities. Of course, the need has become even more acute as we endure the impact of COVID-19.
Through the Drive Thru Food Drive, we’ve set up three COVID-safe opportunities for every Wisconsin associate to address food insecurity this holiday season:
1) Food Donation Drop Off at Anthem’s Pewaukee Office
WHAT:
Drop off food donations during any of three designated collection times below. Simply load your donations into your car trunk, drive up, and volunteers will unload and transport all donations to the Hunger Task Force.
WHEN:
- Saturday, Nov. 14th from 10 a.m. to Noon
- Tuesday, Nov. 17th from 10 a.m. to Noon
- Thursday, Nov. 19th from 10 a.m. to Noon
WHERE:
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Office Parking Lot
N17 W24340 Riverwood Dr.
Waukesha, WI 53188
2) Food Donation Drop Off At Miller Park
Take a drive down to the ol’ ballpark and drop off your food donations at Miller Park, 1 Brewers Way, Milwaukee on Friday, Nov. 20th from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Just as with our Anthem collection dates, simply load your items in your trunk, pull into the drive-thru area and volunteers will take donations without you ever having to leave your car.
3) Donate Through Anthem’s Hunger Task Force Virtual Food Drive
Don’t live in Southeast Wisconsin? We’ve got you covered. Now through November 30th, just CLICK HERE to visit our Anthem Virtual Food Drive Donation Center where you can select from an array of food items to donate.
People right here in our communities need our help and I know you all will rise to the challenge. Let’s make sure no one has to experience the fear of not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Thank you for your help!
